MNK Re strengthens energy distribution with key hire

MNK Re has strengthened its energy division with the appointment of Mark Ritson (pictured above) as director of energy.

Ritson joins MNK Re with over 30 years of experience in energy insurance broking, covering upstream and downstream energy, power generation, and renewable energy projects worldwide.

He will work closely with the company’s existing energy team, focusing on expanding MNK Re’s business and expanding its energy portfolio.

Well-known in the international insurance market, Ritson has particular expertise in Latin American energy projects. His previous role was at Amwins, where he guided clients through a challenging market environment driven by rising costs.
